Romania is a country in Southeast Europe. Romania is located between the Balkans and Eastern Europe, so it borders Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary, and the Black Sea. By European standards, Study in Romania is a large country. This means there is plenty to explore, see and do.

Together with the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, these four schools form the Universitaria Consortium – Romania's elite schools. It is the Romanian equivalent of the Ivy League or the Russell Group.

Romania is also home to Bram Stoker's evil Count Dracula. Transylvania attracts millions of visitors every year, all eager to see the famous Count's Castle. Transylvania, with its high mountains and rocky peaks, is also famous for its natural beauty. Many Romanians would say that the nature of the country is what sets it apart. Day trips from any city to the countryside are a common way to spend a weekend in Romania.
